Margarita Ride V

The tradition continues! The Lane Hogs Cycling Club is pleased to announce that we are now accepting registrations for the Margarita Ride V (MRV)! MRV will be held on September 9th–and from now on, the second Saturday in September–at 8:30 AM.

where: routes (maps at the ride):

  • to Mulberry Bend and back — 15 miles
  • Meckling loop — 30 miles
  • Wakonda loop — 50 miles

registration starts at 7:30 AM
ride starts at 8:30 AM
hors d’œuvre (fancy for chips and salsa) start at 10:30 AM
main meal starts at 11:00 AM and ends at 1:30 PM (so choose your route accordingly)
why: to benefit the North Central States Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society
how: register using our official Margarita Ride Registration Form

note: the registration fee is $25, which includes:

  • the ride (SAGs, water/food stops)
  • a shirt (S-XL; larger shirts available for a bit extra)
  • a margarita–couldn’t be the Margarita Ride without one (if you’re over 21; otherwise just a beverage)
  • and, of course, food! (we wouldn’t let you go home on an empty stomach)

pardon the mess

Sorry folks, still getting things up and running, I hope you like the new look of the site. I’m still learning PHP and trying to translate from ColdFusion to it, but it’s a lot like PERL, so that’s helping. And for those of you who did not understand that last sentance, trust me, you did not miss much.

Anyway, I’m still plugging along and hope to have more up here soon. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please let me know.
