Margarita Ride VII (MRVII)

The Lane Hogs are pleased to announce that the Seventh Annual Margarita Ride will now, and forever, be on the second Saturday of September, so mark your calendars ad infinitum. In the case of this year (2008), that means September 13th!

Here are the details:

Who: Vermillion Lane Hogs
in support of the North Central States Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society
What: Um, the Seventh Annual Margarita Ride (MRVII), didn’t you get that from the title? :-)
Where: Starting at Pro’s in Vermillion, SD.

Routes: 15, 30, 45 and 75 miles [route map (new map coming soon!)]
When: Saturday, September 13th

Check in: 7:30 - 8:00 AM
Ride starts promptly at 8:00 AM!
Lunch starts promptly at 11:30 AM, so choose your route accordingly!
Why: An excuse to ride, eat Mexican food and drink margaritas, all while helping out a great cause. Who needs any more reason?
How:
  1. Register online
  2. Pay us $25 per rider (to cover food, supplies, shirts, etc.; the rest goes to the MS Society)
  3. Show up and ride! :-)

St. Patrick’s Day Ride

Missouri River Cycling, a newly-reorganized group of cyclists from the Yankton area, will kick off the with the St. Patrick’s Day Ride on March 17th starting in downtown Yankton. The tentative plan is to ride across the
Meridian Bridge and around through Nebraska and back–around 20-25 miles total–and may include stopping at a couple of establishments along the way. The ride will most likely end up at one of the bars in downtown Yankton for snacks and drinks.
